The Bronze Happy Pig and the Pair of Ducks are the steady first pieces: a pig at the corner of a gravel path beside a vegetable patch, a duck pair on a flagstone corner near water. After that, Hennie Hen at the coop entrance and the Fuzzy Sheep Set of 3 on a grass-edge corner. Build outward from one or two pieces rather than trying to populate the paddock in one go.

Most are cast resin with painted finishes built for outdoor life, lighter to position and frost-proof. The cast-stone pieces are the heavier anchors (Highland Cow Stone Statue, larger sheep pieces), developing a softer lichen patina over a couple of winters. The metal pieces (Aluminium Duck Pair, 3pc Family of Metal Ducks, Life Size Metal Bull) are the more durable working-farm pieces.

Anywhere a real flock or herd would actually wander. Pigs near soil and timber, ducks near water, chickens at a coop entrance or a working path, sheep on a grass edge or beside a stone wall. Avoid open lawn for the smaller pieces, they read too small at five paces. A working corner with several pieces grouped together reads stronger than one solo piece.

Three or four coordinated pieces at a shared corner: a pig, a duck pair, a hen and a goose at a gravel-path edge tells the eye that this is a working farmyard corner.
