The pair pieces and the family piece

The Pair of Ducks is the classic British garden duck shape: two mallards sized at around 28cm, painted with the green head, white collar and chestnut breast of a drake plus a softer mottled-brown female. The painted drake's green head holds through several seasons; the bronze-effect on the Bronze Ducks benefits from being lifted onto a dry tile through winter rather than left on sodden mulch. The aluminium pieces (3pc Family of Metal Ducks, Aluminium Duck Pair) are the lowest-maintenance, a wipe with a soft cloth twice a year and the brushed finish settles into a soft outdoor patina. None of these need winter storage.
