The silhouette does most of the work. A modern piece tends to have a smoother surface, fewer fussy details and a sculptural read at three or four paces: a moon-gazing hare's arched neck, a penguin's graphic block of colour, an elephant's calm bulk. The traditional pieces we carry sit in traditional garden ornaments and tend toward stone angels, cherubs and classical heads with more surface detail.

Bronze-effect. Every piece in this range is cast resin painted with a UV-stable layer that reads as bronze, stone or block colour from three or four paces. You get the weathered look without the weight, the cost or the theft worry of a solid metal casting. The painted finish handles a wet British winter without cracking and holds colour through several seasons.

The Two Preening Cats, the Pair of Mini Ducks and the Medium Bronze Moon-Gazing Hares are the right scale for a small back garden. Each sits on a paving slab, a step or a pot rim without dominating the space. The larger pieces (the Large Moon-Gazing Hares Set, the African and Lucky Elephant Set) want a bigger lawn or a clear gravel bed where they have room to breathe.

Yes. Cast resin, frost-proof, painted in colour that handles a January freeze and a July heatwave without cracking or fading. No winter storage needed. The only thing worth doing before a hard frost is tipping any standing water off a horizontal surface (pot tops, set bases) so it does not freeze and lift a painted rim.

The cast-stone pieces sit in statues. These are the heavier, denser pieces that read closer to traditional stonework and want a flat paving pad underneath. The cast-resin modern range here is lighter, cheaper and easier to place, with the same painted finish read at three or four paces.
