The Bronze Bear w/Cub or Mother Bear and Cub are the natural anchor pieces: pair-and-cub sculpts with enough mass to hold a corner against a tree base or the back of a gravel run. The Large Wall Mounted Bear Head adds vertical anchor on a wall behind the grouping. The smaller pieces (otter, hedgehog pair, squirrel, frog) scatter around the anchor at smaller scale to build the layered woodland read.

Sometimes yes, in small ways. Hedgehogs occasionally shelter beside a low cast-resin piece during the day; ground beetles take cover under the base; spiders weave webs across the edges. None of the pieces is engineered as a wildlife habitat, so you should not expect them to replace a proper hedgehog house or a log pile. They sit alongside actual wildlife rather than housing it.

Yes. Cast resin, frost-proof, painted in UV-stable bronze that handles a wet January and a July heatwave without cracking or fading. The bronze tone deepens slightly over the first wet winter and holds from there. A soft brush across the painted detail twice a year keeps pollen and lichen out of the surface. Lift any piece sitting in deep sodden mulch onto a flagstone through deep winter to stop base algae.

Larger than the Bronze Bear w/Cub, both pieces being seated-mother-with-cub sculpts but at slightly different scales. Exact dimensions and current price are on each product page. The Mother Bear and Cub sits well at the base of a mature tree where the larger scale matches the tree-trunk diameter; the Bronze Bear w/Cub fits a smaller corner or a planted-pot edge.

The Large Wall Mounted Bear Head is the obvious wall piece, mounted at face height (between 1.6 and 1.8 metres) on a brick or render wall above or behind the free-standing grouping. Two screw fixings into wall plugs hold it firmly. The wall piece anchors the composition vertically and gives the woodland corner a watching presence above the ground-level pieces.

A mix. The badgers, hedgehogs, frog and otter are British woodland and waterway native species; British gardeners will likely have seen the live equivalents. The bears are not British wildlife (no wild bears in Britain), they reference North American or European brown bears, but they fit visually inside a woodland grouping. The bronze squirrel reads as British grey-or-red. The mix works fine; nobody minds a cast-resin bear cub beside a real-world hedgehog.
