Small Gnome Garden Ornaments
Small gnome garden ornaments are pocket-scale figures between 22cm and 25cm, sized for alpine troughs, windowboxes, shelf edges and the kind of front-step nooks where a 30cm gnome would look like too much.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does delivery, returns and contact work?
UK delivery is free on orders over £50, with a flat rate below that. Orders ship within one working day from our Cotswolds workshop, packed in recyclable materials. Returns are accepted within 30 days for a full refund, with no restocking fees. If something arrived damaged or you need help choosing, email hello@backyardbliss.co.uk and we usually reply within a few hours.
How tall are these small gnomes?
All five cuts sit between 22cm and 25cm. The 'Grow Old With Me' Gnome Couple is the tallest at 25cm and 20cm wide. The Naughty Gnomes pair and both Biker Gnome pieces stand at 22cm. The Jolly Donsy of Gnomes is a set of six individually smaller figures. These are sized for alpine troughs, windowboxes, pot edges and shelf display, not standalone lawn placement (which is where the large gnomes cut comes in).
Will the painted detail still carry at this scale?
Yes. The paint is deliberately high-contrast on all five so the faces and clothing read clearly from arm's length. The Naughty Gnomes and Biker pairs are painted with strong colour blocks (boots, jackets, hats) that hold up at conversation distance. The Grow Old With Me couple uses softer reds and whites where the brushwork on the verse base does the heavy lifting close up.
Are pocket-sized gnomes more vulnerable to frost than larger ones?
No. Cast resin is the same spec regardless of size, so a 22cm gnome is no more frost-prone than a 38cm one. The painted finish is UV-stable at every scale. The only practical difference is that smaller pieces are easier to lift onto a paver in deep winter (which extends the paint life on any size).
Will a 22cm gnome look lost on an open lawn?
Yes, almost certainly. Pocket-scale pieces want close-pass spots (a planted trough, an alpine pan, a porch shelf, the rim of a raised bed) where the eye gets within arm's length. On an open lawn they disappear among the grass. For lawn-front pieces, the large gnomes cut starts at 25cm and runs up to 38cm.
Can I cluster several pocket gnomes together?
Easily. A Grow Old With Me couple plus a Naughty pair plus three of the Jolly Donsy six on a single trough rim reads like a small allotment crew at work. Variation in painted colour (soft red, cheeky-face boots, the Donsy palette) keeps the eye moving across the cluster rather than flattening into a row of similar shapes.
How does the pocket-scale cut compare with larger sizes?
For 25cm-38cm pieces that read from a sightline distance, see large gnomes. For waist-high tableaux like the Jolly Donsy six and the 38cm Watering pair as a path-end piece, the extra large gnomes cut is the next step up. Full catalogue: all gnomes.
