A Frenchie is shorter, lighter and more compact. Look for bat-shaped upright ears, a flatter muzzle, a barrel chest and a tiny corkscrew tail stub. A standard British or Old English bulldog carries heavier folded jowls, a wider lower jaw, more shoulder mass and rose-shaped folded ears. The French Bulldog Puppy Sleeping Statue is cast from fine limestone chippings blended with resin, a reconstituted cast-stone style material finished off-white out of the mould. He's frost-tolerant and rated for British weather, and the porous surface takes a soft lichen patina over two or three seasons. The figure is a sleeping-puppy sculpt rather than a standing pose, so he's small and low-profile. One adult can lift him easily.
